Resource Links for Question 4:

Play is an opportunity for us to see children naturally extend and apply concepts.  Experiments we have done, stories we have read, and vocabulary we have practiced get integrated into their play so that they can solidify and transfer their knowledge.

Open ended tools allow children to extend their experiences.  When choosing apps or tools, instead of just thinking about what YOU want your kids to do with them, think about how THEY can create by using them.
